Tylor Trenoweth

Tylor Trenoweth is an experienced, hard-hitting opening Batsman from South Africa. A powerful left-hander, Tylor is also a tidy-part time Right-arm Medium pacer. His aggressive style has seen him join the professional game quite late on but he grabbed the opportunity given to him by Limpopo with both hands in summer 2025-26.

Having been a standout talent at schoolboy level for Durban High School, he represented his native Kwa-Zulu Natal at back-to-back Khaya Majola Coke Weeks in 2012 & 2013. Post-education, he ventured to the UK for three seasons, joining St Georges CC in the Shropshire League for 2014 & 2015, pumping out 1400+ runs and picking up 100+ wickets for the club before heading a bit further north to Woodhouses in 2016.

Over the next decade, work would have to take precedence for Tylor, who contiued to play premier league club cricket when available to do so but an opportunity to play for the KZN Colts side in 2024-25 saw him blast dual one-day hundreds and he subsequently received an offer to head north and link with Limpopo for the 2025-26 summer.

He grabbed his chance, smoking 60 (36) on debut for the Impalas in the CSA T20 Challenge, 80 on debut in the 4-day Competition and going on to score 38, 52, 56 & 132* in his first four one-day appearances in his first summer at the professional level.

Seeking a return to the UK in 2027, Tylor will be a great pick up for any club seeking a hard-hitting top order batsman that can blow an attack away as well as roll the arm over with a few medo’s next summer. Tylor is a Cricket South Africa Level Two coach.
