Udith Madushan

Udith Madushan is a highly rated Right-arm quick from the South East region of Tissamaharamaya. A hard hitting middle/lower order batsman, Udith is one of the more lively seamers on the Sri Lankan Domestic Scene. Currently representing Colts CC across all three formats, he is a a former Sri Lankan U19 and a Sri Lanka ‘A’/Development XI representative.

Udith made his first-class debut for Ragama Cricket Club in the 2016–17 Premier League Tournament. White ball debuts followed for Mannar District in the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament and his T20 debut, his most effective format, didn’t come until January 2020, for Lankan Cricket Club. In August 2021, he was named in the SLC Greys team for the 2021 SLC Invitational T20 League tournament and has been outstanding in T20 Cricket, bagging 29 wickets @ 14.13 with a best of 3-17

In April 2022, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named him in the Sri Lanka Emerging Team’s squad for their tour to England and later that year was named in the Sri Lanka A squad for their matches against Australia A during Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2025, Udith will be an excellent pick up for any club seeking a genuinely sharp new ball bowler for next summer.
