Umar Siddique Khan

Umar Siddiq is a classy top order Batsman from Lahore, Pakistan. A brutal left-hander, Umar has been a regular feature on the domestic circuit since his debut for Lahore Shalimar as a 19 year old in 2012. He has gone on to represent a number of different domestic outfits across all three formats, excelling in 50-over cricket in particular. Umar was selected for Pakistan A between 2015-2016.

whilst his first season got off to a slow start in red-ball cricket, his white ball prowess was evident in the 2012-13 summer with 278 runs in 6 digs. 2013-14 & 2014-15 is where he really made a name for himself. In just 34 games, Umar piled on 2,314 runs @ 56.43 across both 4-day & 1-Day Cricket with 11 half-centuries and 7 Hundreds in the same period. This form is ultimately what led to his selection for Pakistan A in 2015 in both formats.

In summer 2021, Umar ventured to the UK for the first time, linking with Leamington CC in the Birmingham Premier League. His 818 runs @ 40.90 in the league/cup saw him finish in the top 5 for runs in the Birmingham League competitions.
