Utkarsh Srivastava

Utkarsh Srivastava is one of the USA’s brightest young talents. A gifted Right-hander from Cary, North Carolina, his clean striking and Tidy Right-arm Off Spin has been a revelation throughout age-group cricket in the States, representing the United States the 2024 ICC Under 19 World Cup as a 16 year old and in the same calendar year, as a 17 year old, Utkarsh made both his One-Day International (ODI) & Twenty20 (T20I) debuts for the USA in October 2024.

The highest run-scorer for USA at the 2024 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, Utkarsh had long been a standout amongst his peers despite still being mid-teens. So it was only a surprise to those not in the know that Utkarsh was not only picked for the October 2024 T20 Tri-Series tour to Namibia but that he debuted. On return to the USA, he was selected for the ICC World Cricket League home fixtures against Scotland and Nepal.

An excellent ODI debut against Scotland saw Utkarsh score 67 (63) batting at 7 and entering the fray with the USA in trouble at 115-5. In pursuit of Scotland’s 317 it wasn’t enough for a win but certainly announced to the USA Cricket fraternity that the future is very bright indeed.

USA U19 were invited to participate in the 2025 Cricket South Africa CUBS week, and sensationally won the tournament, with Utkarsh leading the batting charge with 219 runs @ 43.80 and collecting 6 wickets @ 11.00. He represented the U19 side again in the West Indies U19 Rising Stars Tournament in July 2025, compiling 289 runs @ 41.28 and chiming in with 9 wickets @ 16.88, striking a best of 124 against Barbados. His performances were more than enough to book a ticket to the 2026 ICC Under 19 World Cup in Zimbabwe/Namibia.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2026, Utkarsh will be a shrewd pick up for any UK club seeking a talented young Batter/Spinner for next summer that has a maturity beyond his years.
