Vivian Kingma is a Dutch cricketer from Den Haag (The Hague) in Holland. Not noted for his exploits as a right-handed tailender Batsman, Vivian has been an excellent contributor with the ball in hand for the Dutch since his debut as an 18-year-old against Worcestershire in summer 2013.
Vivian represented the Netherlands throughout the age groups from Under 13 through to U19 and at 19, was selected for the Netherlands squad to contest the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. He was initially selected in the Netherlands’ squad for the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in July 2015 but had to wait to make his debut until the 2016 series against Scotland in Dubai.
In December 2017, he took a hat-trick and his first five-wicket haul in List A cricket while playing for the Netherlands against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. In July 2019, Vivian was selected to play for the Rotterdam Rhinos in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament which was unfortunately cancelled.
An all-round good guy, Vivian is a quality seamer with an excellent record for club and country that won’t let anyone down with the ball in hand. Vivian is interested in white-ball opportunities around the world.
