Jordan Hermann

Jordan Hermann is a high-quality Batting All-Rounder from Pretoria, South Africa. A classy Left-handed Opening/Top Order Batsman, Jordan is also a more than capable Right-arm Off Spinner who was schooled at the prestigious Hoerskool Waterkloof. Coming from a Cricket family with his brother Rubin also playing Professional Cricket, Jordan was a standout for the school and was ultimately selected for the Titans Cubs side as well as the South African U19 side to contest the CSA 3-Day programme in the COVID-affected 2020-21 domestic season.

He wouldn’t need to wait long to make his Professional debut though, making his 4-day debut for the Northerns Titans in October 2021. He top scored on debut, scoring 50* as the innings fell apart for the Titans and backed it up with 62 in the 2nd dig. He played 5 games in his first season in the big time, scoring 318 runs @ 63.60 with a best of 112 coming against the Dolphins in his second game in a drawn game on his home deck of Centurion.

Jordan moved to Eastern Province Warriors ahead of the 2022-23 summer and got off to a flyer, with a cracking 76 (45) against the Eastern Cape Linyathi with 6 x sixes in the Ngumbela Legacy Cup.

Seeking his first season in the UK in 2023, Jordan linked with Witham CC but was selected for South Africa A and was restricted to just 3 games. He showed glimpses of what he can do but it was a shame his stint was cruelly cut short albeit the selection for SA ‘A’ was well deserved.

Jordan will be an excellent pick up for a club seeking a high-end top order batsman and handy off-spinner for next summer. Jordan is a Cricket South Africa Level One coach.
