Sumit Ruikar

Sumit is a quality first class left arm spinner and middle order batsman currently playing for Chhattisgarh state team in India’s first class circuit. He also played for Vidarbha state side for 4 years after making his debut in December 2012.

In the 2017-18 season he was the leading wicket taker in the Ranji trophy for his state side with 23 dismissals with a 10 wicket haul in 6 matches. He has also represented the National cricket academy camps in 2007 and 2012.

Sumit has been one of the most prolific Overseas to come across to our shores where he has played 5 seasons for Wallasay CC in the strong Liverpool Premier league taking 433 wickets in total with his best in 2022 of 127 wickets at just 11.24 with a best of 9-9. He also showed his allround ability scoring 3098 runs with a best of 112 not out.

Sumit is looking for a new venture for the 2025 season and would be one the best Overseas players on the market with proven first class stats and some of the best Uk stats bar none.
